Against the regime, against oppression, against corruption...
At a time when you have nothing and the crocodiles are swarming the country
You were made to believe that the revolution has succeeded, but it has failed because of corruption.
They all accepted the "green" [Gaddafi's color] and left the scene as it is.
The mind is still green and today they've let them become empowered.
What else would you call these opportunists grabbing guns and saying that they're the police?
Patrolling the streets, stopping people, and acting like a gang?
At a time when the revolutionaries have returned home and completed their duty,
You meet the opportunists swaggering around, happy with their loot.
So who will hold them to account? Wrong will always be there to be fought.
As for me, I'm not envious. I hate them more than anything.
More than my hatred for Muammar, more than my hatred for the police.
What I hate most is the people who become self-important when they get into power.
This is my instinct. This is God's gift.
What I know is that you should learn from the past.
In fact, they say that if you have one idea, you have thousands
And that you can't write a single word without writing its letters first.
Then look. I'm writing my name. All I'm saying is that history is our legend,
an idea for the Libyan people to take in with sound and pictures,

to take in from me despite the government. Yo, government! It's me against you!
Until the picture becomes clear, I'll keep saying it and playing my role.
I'm still standing my ground. Listen up! I have not blindfolded myself and I will not be quiet
about what is happening in front of me in my country. I must speak out and I must
project my voice, even if my voice is barely heard.
The street! The truth of the street is the only thing that counts!
In the book of the past, in "The Age of Muammar the Deceiver," between quotation marks.
And the writing was on the wall: "The Opportunists Are Everywhere" [A play on the Green Book]
If you have a green mind, you have free reign. Impose your will! Spread your influence!
Now if you want to play with us, that means you must come down to the street!
Now, I'm just one young man, but I still have the right
to be opposed to the state and no one can take that away from me.
I'm free in my opinions and I am free to decide my fate. Do whatever you want to me!
Until my last breath I will damn you!
We have right and we have wrong. To those who are trying to drag us into the mire, I tell you
one more time: Bring my name into it if you want!
Who wanted to believe it? The state is governed by the Kalashnikov.
Remain alert, my brother citizen. The revolution was overthrown in mid-December.
The revolution was clear. Let the picture, my brother, be better than it was before!
So that the world knows what you feel and what you want.
Just tell me what is ailing you. Have your broken bones been set?
The sum has already been calculated. The price has already been paid by the people of the graves.
It was paid for by the blood of the martyr who sacrificed himself for his country. Say it again

for the one who sacrificed himself! Let his country work for him and work for education and health.
The one who sacrificed himself for his country is still being governed by the same crowd
that governed our country before. What is different? Only the talk is different!
The bills are coming in! Get that green from the foreign exchanges.
Stash the gold. Pump the oil. Arm those closest to you.
What? You think the revolutionaries' sell-by date is over?
You're useless now, you who want only people who shut their mouths and stay silent.
Nobody wants to hear the truth. They've been tricked by the flow of money.
They don't think about what's happening in the country, about word games being played,
about the empty exchange of a dictator for a sultan.
Trickery and deceit with sacrificial animals!
For that reason, they assassinated the general [Abdel Fattah Younes] and they assassinated the truth!
For that reason, they repeated the Malcolm X scenario in America.
For that reason, I am standing here to tell you the reason why:
Corruption has infected the country and the cause is the entire National Transitional Council!
The reason isn't just Ghoga and the reason isn't just Terbil!
The reason lies in the minds of those whose minds aren't ready to receive
and aren't ready to send [i.e, their minds are closed]. For that reason, the people are astonished
whenever someone demands his rights, so they become afraid and back away.
They become afraid and deny anything is wrong. You say, "He distorted the meaning of the Quran!"
They say, "You have sinned. Ask for forgiveness. Apologize to the sultan."
The children of Satan tell you, "Don't pit yourself against them!"
And if you do, you're wrong for standing up and demanding your rights
because you're criticizing your rulers! Or am I wrong?
Maybe I'm confused! Maybe I don't understand anything! Even so, listen to me anyway.
Everyone among us has ideas. We all have the freedom to express them.
Every citizen is free to have his own opinion, even if you hate it!
Because freedom of expression, even the smallest trace of it, guarantees
that we're walking down the path of change and that we'll stay on the same path!
But if you tell me that anyone in the opposition or anyone whose opinion

is different from yours is a traitor, then say goodbye to freedom!
Then why have we had this revolution? We'll see a repetition of the revolution
at the first available opportunity! Why? Because the Libyans said it
from the start of the revolution: there's no more fear, no more limits
no more walls in front of me. There's nothing called silence anymore.
There's no one called sir anymore. You've exhausted us with your airs of majesty.
We're sick of you! Just try telling us, "Go back to being slaves!"
I won't add anything more. Repetition is only for those who need it.
Because those who didn't understand it the first time will have to understand it once again.

Libya, nothing is guaranteed
Freedom of speech in Libya is in danger.
You have to understand that disagreeing with the state does not mean you are against the state.
Libya. By MC Swat.
That's the record, ya'll.
