I'm not just a number

I'm a two days old child

I'm the one on a bicycle and that's my dad jumping with joy

I'm the one who's fixing his jacket while my mom's worrying 

about evil eyes!

I'm not a figure in the absence lists

I'm the one who's hiding tales within a book

I'm the one whose folks went through hell for

I'm not only a case and we're not just "somebodies"

I'm the one whose lover's been waiting for so long

to make it and get done with college, army, and all that madness

I'm not a figure written on my dead body

I'm a normal person....I'm a football match in my neighbourhood

I'm the one painting on trees along the way

I'm not a date, and not an announcement

I'm a knock that doors well recognize

I'm the one who dances in all the neighbours' weddings

I'm not a flag and a couple of mourning days

I'm not a protest, and not a song
